Georgia Hunter Bell is an Olympic and World bronze medallist, a European silver medallist, and the current British record holder in the 1500m. Once a standout child track star, she stepped away from competitive athletics for an unprecedented five years - only to make a history-defying comeback just three years ago. During her hiatus, Georgia built a career in technology sales and found her way back to fitness through Saturday morning Park Runs. Her story of resilience and reinvention has captivated both the running and cycling communities, thanks to the diversity of her training- unusually for a middle-distance runner, she does the majority of her sessions on the bike.
Now an advocate for keeping women and girls in sport, Georgia is using her platform to address the high dropout rates among teenage girls. She’s also teaming up with Canyon and Zwift, with exciting activations planned at major events like the Tour de Femme. As the summer approaches, her sights are firmly set on the World Championships, where she’s chasing gold to complete her collection of global medals - a story of second chances, community, and defying convention.
