My name is Confidence Lawson. I am one of UK top sprinters in the the country.
I got into track and field through my school due to being the fastest in the school. Track at first was my little escape from everything due to it being the one place I would go to hang out with friends. Fast forward 3 years when I was 20 I took it upon myself to take it more seriously and challenge the best of the best.
Because of my decision I got the opportunity to represent Great Britain in the Europeans clubs cup, Nitro Athletics games were I got to race Usain Bolt the World fastest man over 150 meters. 2018 Athletics World Cup I was part of team GB relay 4 x 100 team which finished 3rd overall in the competition. I also compete individually travelling around the world competing in international events, going head to head against World and European Champions.
My personal bests are 6.64sec for 60meters which placed my 4th in the UK for the 2019 season. 10.21w seconds for 100 meters and 20.78 seconds for 200 meters.
My ambition is to make the Great Britain team for the 2020 Olympics which is what I currently training for.
